Spiritually speaking, if women are to suffer the pain of childbirth because of Eve's sin...?

Then why does the male sea horse suffer painful contractions when giving birth? Is there a whole other Poseidon based version of the creation of seakind involving a sinful male sea horse? I don't understand the transferance of Eve's sin to marine life?
