T is upset because his house is filled to the brim with rude, greedy suitors trying to marry his mother and become the new king of Ithaca. He is also upset because he feels his mother is enjoying the attention just a little too much and is thereby betraying his father. The mother's name is Penelope. The soothsayer's name is Halitherses and he is interpretting the signs sent by Zeus, specifically a pair of eagles. There is a lot of pressure on Penelope to give O up for dead (it has been 10 years since the end of the Trojan War and 20 years since O left in the first place. The kingdom needs a king after all. Things have reached a point that the assembly is threatening to throw her out on her head if she doesn't pick a new husband. So, to stall them she gets them to agree to wait until she has finished weaving a burial shroud. Once that is finished, she tells them, then she will be able to select a new husband in good conscience. T decides to leave Ithaca and heads to Pylos and Sparta to seek word of his father.

I like it, as long as it makes sense. It actually serves to make it easier to relate to. Most fantasy involves things that aren't even close to being in the realm of everyday life, so adding some history in there can serve to bridge that gap. From just the question though, I thought you meant something like historical fiction (which I enjoy greatly) instead of more fantasy related.

I don't see why anyone should feel awkward over such a petty thing. It's literature, nothing more. I think that considering what your computer is capable of, that you could easily charge over $18,000. This is for graphic design, 3D rendering and video editing, I presume. I recommend that you add in a sound card anyway. Doesn't have to be super top notch, but a sound card will greatly benefit anyone who needs to hear sound on the workstation, especially people who are doing sound editing and video editing.

Hi, I have just bought a "Targus Desktop USB 2.0 4-Port Hub w/Audio Pass-Through" ( http://www.targus.com/us/productdetail.aspx?sku=ach80us ) powered USB hub. I also have a number of portable devices I usually charge from my PC or notebook via USB cable: Sony NWZ-S545 mp3 player, Amazon Kindle 3 ebook reader, an old Mio C220 satnav, a Nikon still camera etc. My question is wheter or not I can SAFELY charge these devices from the USB hub itself. I mean, I power up the HUB but do not turn on my computer, just attach these devices to the hub. Will they charge? Won't they overcharge? How do you check the rear wheel bearing play when you have dual tires and spoke wheels?

Am studying diesel mecanic and am actually able to do it on front single tires with aluminum wheels by moving it from back to front and checking that the play is between 0.001 inch and 0.005 inch with my dial indicator with no sweat, but today I had to do it on the back heavy spokes wheels with dual tires. I did what I had to do and checked my play by moving the tires back to front and got 0.003 inch play which is good. Then a friend showed me a trick by hitting the tires on the bottom with his knee and it gave him 0.005 inch, but then the teacher pulled the hub spokes and pushed it and gave him 0.006 inch. I tried to follow him but it didn't move. When it did, the maximum that I could get was 0.002 inch which took me quite a while to get it. Am not as strong as him btw...so is there a trick to do it right when you dont have much strength (except building muscles because I dont have much time before the exam)?

Okay so here’s the story. I've been dating this guy, we're not official and haven't been able to see each other since confessing we liked each other. Before going to bed, I asked him where he's been all day, and he replied that he had go to a post op appointment, and had been on meds all day, asleep. He seemed tired but told me he was just "deep in thought" and again, stopped answering. The next day, I didn't wake up to a good morning text or anything. He was in summer school so I just waited til after, still no response, I texted him, this conversation lasted about 5 minutes, and again he stopped answering. He said nothing about our plans for the day, so again, waiting about 4 hours, I texted him asking if we were going out, he never answered and we didn't talk yesterday, at all. To me, the short period of time was just not enough for his feelings to change. Tuesday (when we were supposed to see each other would have also been the 2 year anniversary of him and his ex, so I understand him not wanting to hang out, as it would have been weird for me too. Yesterday was also her birthday (go figure) so again, kind of weird. But today, I want to text him seeing if he answers, but I don't want to seem clingy. So am I over reacting? Okay, so I've been friends with this girl since about 2nd grade and recently we've been hanging out about every weekend when we can because she lives 30 minutes away. What is going on with him?

My 3 year old is getting his front teeth pulled in 1 week help!?

My dog responded by snapping at him and he broke his skin. The kid started crying and his mom was flipping out. Anyone Suffering from Chronic Hives?

This is actually going to be some advice for those people who have suffered with chronic hives for a long time. I had (idiopathic urticaria) hives with no known cause for over 2 years. I lived off of antihistimines and steroids(medrol dose packs and prednisone) and was in and out of the emergency room when I had outbreaks all over my body. I had been given the run around by all types of drs. And I was even given meds for what they believed was a stress disorder. I even had a blood test done for allergies but everything came back fine. I was unable to get the skin test because they ask you to come off of your medications for like a week before the test. And there was no way i could. I had to work and go to school. If i did that I'd look like a monster. But I eventually found a good ENDOCHRINOLOGIST and they found that i have hyperthyroidism/GRAVES DISEASE and the way that my body reacted to the disruption in my thyroid function was externally through hives. I had a blood test at this physicians office and they confirmed that the thyroid levels were too high and put me on Methimazole to help slow down thyroid hormone production. I slowly took myself off of the antihistimines and am taking only the methimazole now. I have been taking the medicine only a month or so and feel much better in some ways. I still feel tired and have a very hard time keeping weight on, but at this point i am not having to worry about hives. I just hope that someone who has the same problem will read this and find some hope here. Don't let a dr tell you that nothing is wrong with you. You know your body best and you know when something is wrong. I went through countless dr's and missed opportunities because of what I was suffering with, with no answers. Dont lose hope and keep looking until you get help.

My suggestion is to contact one of the autism groups nearby (Aspeger's is a mild form of autism). They can guide you about getting tested, treatment, etc. They tend to be pretty proactive and should be helpful no matter how it turns out. In my lowly opinion, it does sound like a likelihood. And, for your information, people with autism, especially Aspeger's, tend to be above average in intelligence. Thought I would give you a positive to consider.)

Hi, on Thursday night I had ordered my all my computer parts, all around 6 o' clock. The case, and everything else was shipped separately, and I had two day shipping. Current girlfriend hanging with ex girlfriend?

My girlfriend and i have been together for over 2 years now and we also live together. She has a wonderful son who's almost 3. My problem is we also live with her ex girlfriend for over 2 years. I understand that they has this child together and they both want to have him in their lives and im not asking for that to change. Hi a couple of days ago i wanted to change my nat type on blacks ops from strict to open, i did a bit of research and found out there was away to do this. It involved going to my router settings and for that it requires a password but i had forgotten it, it said to reset my router to default settings (I have a BT Home Hub), after i did this i could not connect to it on My ps3 at all. It just gets past putting in the WPA in then it says it has timed out trying to get the ip address. I was told that if i reset my ps3 to defaults it would work but still no luck please help?!

Crate training adjustment?

Ok quick bio of my doggie :) Her name is Kammi we suspect she is 8 or 9 months old. I was originally fostering her, but as most people know fostering can be deadly when it comes to such a cute face! My boyfriend and I adopted her out an(please note that me and my boyfriend are first time dog owners). We have had her for erm....about a month now she is also 37 lbs. She was a stray and has not had any training. We have been crate training her mainly just for housebreaking. We are now allowing her to walk freely in and out of her crate at night. So far so good!! Now I have heard that the crate becomes the dogs den, but me and my boyfriend don't want to keep this crate forever because it is a eye sore in our apartment. I'd like to point out that the crate she is in is sorta sorta tinyish (it was a hand-me-down) :( so I would really prefer that she doesn't always sleep in the crate. I work and my boyfriend goes to school. I'm wondering if she will react poorly if we remove the crate all together and give her a bed to sleep in. I have severe food allergies, enough where my allergist requires me to carry an Epi-Pen and Benadryl as a back-up. I only ever use these medications if I come into a food that I am not supposed to eat, as I am not allergic to any environmental substances. Benadryl, I am sure you know is a medication that makes you a little drowsy, however it really doesn't make me really all that drowsy. EpiPens, if used, you are required to go to the hospital. Since I am required to carry these, and because of the way they react and the way you have to react to the medications, I am wondering, are these a disqualification to getting my medical and student pilot license? Connecting my blue ray to netflix w/ a cable modem?

I just bought a Vizio blue ray player with Netflix. I currently have a Netflix account and I connect to the internet with a cable modem. Both need to be connected at the same time to be activated together so I bought a hub with four outputs so they can both be connected at the same time..but my blue ray will not automatically pick up the isp address and when I manually enter the isp address my computer says another device is connecting to my network..well yes I want another device to connect to my network. I have tried Vizio and they said it is a Netflix problem. I tried Netflix and they said it is a Vizio problem. Is it because I am using a hub and not connecting directly ? Or do I try retuning my opened box item and try a wireless adapter? I was told the wired connection was easier to set up !

a hub or a router? if its a hub, that means you are using Internet sharing on one computer, in which case you may need to look at your setting there. you may be blocking somthing from other comps on the network......... if tis a router, you need to look at the router settings its self. personally i would spend the money on a router, that way both computers can have direct access to the net without having to do a shared connection, and you can still network them together as well

Horrible experience with rabbits! Help!?

Well, we had two adopted rabbits that we got fairly young. We got them both together, and they seemed to get along fairly well for the time we had them. We fed them vegetables, pellets, let them run and hop around, gave them a large space for their cage so they had room to stretch and move still, petted them, cleaned their area often. They were also both neutered/spayed (one male, one female). It was fairly easy to deal with the both of them. Then, we got another bunny who wasn't adopted, because we thought that they would get along very well with it. This bunny is a tiny baby, and adorable as can be. An all black little lop ear. x3 He seemed so curious about the other two bunnies, so we tried bonding them and seeing how they reacted to one another. He started to binky, which we thought it was a good sign, but then the other male tried to attack him, and the girl bunny seemed disinterested in him, so we decided to put the baby bunny in a separate area next to theirs. The older male rabbit tried to claw at and lunge at the baby rabbit still and tried to get out of his cage to get to him, and about a week ago, he suddenly died while still facing the area where the baby bunny's cage was. We were so confused by this because we still gave them all equal attention, let them run around, and we make sure they have plenty of food and water. Now that the older male is gone, we tried to see how the female and the new rabbit got along, and at first it seemed to be going well, but now there seems to be a problem. She's lunged at him a couple of times and acts aggressively toward him. We don't know what to do.... Help?

this is a long story but here it goes. I am 29 weeks and my Hub never says sorry. Ok so a few months ago i got my betta fish which i named Poseidon. When i would feed him he would gobble up all his food and want more. Now when i feed him he wont even go near it. He is in a big tank and his water it pretty much all the time 76- 77 degrees. I have gotten him new food cause i thought that maybe he got sick of it. He has never liked flakes even when i first got him. Then i went out and got him freeze dryed blood worms and he wont eat them too.. Fix DC interference with guitar pedals?

The DC adapter for my pedal board recently died on me for no apparent reason. I found that an adapter for an old BT home hub was an exact match except for the polarity so I cut the cable and connected them the other way round and it works fine, but when I use the pedals I get a relay high screeching sound. I know its the adapter because I tried with my friends BOSS PSA (All the pedals in my board are BOSS) adapter and got no interference. How could I fix this?

I had to get two teeth pulled raw yesterday and the pain was excrutiating. Apparently I couldn't get novacaine shots because I react badly to them, so i'm on 2 800mg ibuprofen but they aren't helping whatsoever and my two missing teeth are still killing me. Is there anything I can ask my doctor to maybe perscribe that will "knock me out?"
